Staff and GM greeted me my last two visits here. It's been a very warm welcome.
As Hilton Honors members, we had an amazing experience during our recent stay! We explored Chimney Rock State Park and Catawba Falls, and this hotel was the perfect choice for accessing both, conveniently located right off Highway 40. The entire property has been beautifully renovated and feels brand new. The front desk staff were both professional and incredibly friendly. Needed a place to take a break and get some rest. Walked to the front desk and greeted by Carrie, she was kind and professional and made the process painless. She even had popcorn and cookies ready. Updated rooms were a plus. A little road noise from the window but I slept so good. Breakfast was delicious, the bananas had motivational messages on them, I ate two 😆. If I'm in the area again I will definitely stay there.
We stay here when attending the Grandfather Mountain Scottish Games every year. It is a short drive up the mountain from Marion.
I really enjoyed my stay. My room was a very pleasant surprise! I had read online that the hotel was under renovation, and I had seen pictures of seemingly outdated rooms, so I'm assuming my room had been renovated. The beds were comfy, and the smart TV was a nice touch. My mother is a Hilton Honors Gold Member. She was eligible for one free snack from the front desk; the front desk associate went above and beyond, offering a chocolate bar for each of us instead of just one.
