Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Hammond and had a really good experience overall. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-kept, which made for a relaxing stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. My room was spotless, the bed was cozy, and everything felt quiet and safe, which I appreciated. The bathroom looks modern with sliding glass shower doors, but the toiletries are very basic and unremarkable, and there’s no air vent, so moisture tends to build up in the small space. I am so upset. I was taking a quick shower before we left the hotel this morning and all of the sudden I hear someone from the front desk calling the phone in our room. I thought that maybe we had somehow lost track of time so I quickly jumped out of the shower and as I was getting out a man started knocking on the door and shouting at us. I didn’t open the door but I said, “we are still here, is it after 12 o’clock?” I checked my phone and the time was ONLY 11:45 am!!!
