Came into Greer Hampton Inn which we have stayed at numerous times, and why we come back is because it is clean, staff helpful and friendly. Our stay was to facilitate doctor appointment I have with doctors in this area since we lived here for over 5 years. Past 2 plus years come back couple times each year to see my doctors, and this location works very well for us, see old friends, stay with doctors you trust, and ask for a noon checkout which never is refused, why? Parking was free, easy, and felt safe. The rooms were clean. The gym was amazing. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The location is walkable to downtown Greer. I felt safe the entire time I was there.
Please be aware! The hotel was good and everybody was nice during the stay but when I got home I noticed I was charged twice for the hotel. I have been calling almost weekly to fix the problem and left several messages for the manager and they have not called back in over a month. They said I made two reservations but in reality I only made one the day of my stay and I didn’t notice anything until I checked my credit card and was charged twice. The Hampton Inn in downtown Greer is a magnificent hotel conveniently located in walking distance to several restaurants and shops and includes and offers an excellent, free breakfast. It has a very outgoing and personable staff, especially LaTonya at the front desk.
