We adore this hotel! It’s far enough from the craziness of downtown Gettysburg so you don’t hear the Harley’s. The breakfast is outstanding and my husband refuses to stay anywhere else while visiting Gettysburg every year. The rooms are nice and clean, nothing to complain about! I have to personally thank the staff this year for cancelling my room without charging me a fee due to a family emergency. They were very understanding and that’s what sets this hotel apart from others. Thank you Hampton Inn! We will be visiting soon... read more

The measure of a good business is not only when nothing goes wrong and when everything is great but also how the staff responds when inevitably something is less than perfect. When we checked into our hotel room, I discovered that the pipe underneath the sink had a leak in it. When I reported this to the front desk staff, they immediately moved us to another room. Good hotel and convenient if you want to stay outside of the city center. Some may want to be closer but this location served our purpose. Basic buffet as with most Hilton hotels of similar options. Room was nice but the only issue was with room #200 location facing the main highway. The road noise may bother some guests but if run the AC the noise is muffled. The AC control in the room ran continuously even on auto selection. Probably helped with the road noise issue.
