So much noise!!! It was terrible and we will never stay at this location ever again. Manager wouldn't help w wild kids above us at 10:30pm. People talking loudly in the hall. We needed sleep and didn't get much all night.
Stayed here on 2/7/26 and 2/11/26 during a business trip. Interacted with multiple staff who were attentive, kind, and helpful. Both rooms were consistently stocked, clean, and the HVAC was quiet. Breakfast was appealing and the kitchen area was clean and well attended. The location is just off the highway and easy to get in and out of. It is close to restaurants and gas stations. Very nice hotel, wonderful breakfast We stayed there for just one night while traveling north. The hotel is quite nice. The room was spacious and very clean. There were plenty of hangers and towels, and the microwave and mini-fridge worked well (although there was no freezer compartment in the mini-fridge). The Wi-Fi was also perfectly fine. Had a fantastic stay at this Hampton Inn. Staff were really nice, room was spacious and clean. Not many people were staying here so we had the pool and jacuzzi all to ourselves. Breakfast was good and had some nice choices (I’d say it’s similar to other Hampton Inns). Highly recommended in Dumfries.
This is a typical Hampton Inn, including the excellent breakfast. My room was well stocked and the floor I was on was quiet. The check-in person was fine and the breakfast ladies were cordial. The hotel is in a somewhat awkward location, on a minor road behind a gas station and a Waffle House, next to a local highway.
