Was advised at check in that Wi-Fi down and didn’t know when would be back up. My husband and I stayed 4 days and never did come back up. The furniture in the room was filthy. Had a message light come on about 5 in the morning the day after we checked in, never could get the message. Had to unplug the handset over night to get rid of the blinking light. Everything was just okay. The people were friendly but the rooms were kind of small and the bathroom was certainly small.
We stayed here one night in August. Wouldn't recommend. Hallways were dirty. Front desk staff barely acknowledged us, not friendly. Room felt worn out, some outlets didn't work, bathroom was shabby. Nothing felt completely clean. WiFi never worked - they didn't seem to care. Pool was out of order (we weren't going to use it but what if someone was?) Left as soon as we could in the AM. We stayed at two other Hampton Inns on this trip and had completely opposite experiences.
This is a dated Hampton. While some updates are need, it's a good location. RM 106 had a plugged sink drain, TV is shot and needs to be replaced, and there were some brown stains on the comforter - maybe blood but I'm not CSI. On the positive - one of the few Hilton properties I've stayed in where the digital key arrived before ckeckin. Hilton on the other hand is always crack-on in reserving the room + $50 for "incidentals." Like there's $50 in incidentals at a Hampton Inn.
