I had a one night stay here for a work trip, my boss set up the reservation for all of the out of town employees. When I arrived, I was told that I had to use my personal credit card for the room due to me not having the physical company card. I was the only one from my company who had to do this. The hotel would not confirm with the cardholder that I was authorized and they claimed that a new reservation could not be made because it was same day - this may be their policy, but it is very inconvenient as I couldn't downgrade... read more

Comfortable but nothing extraordinary. Breakfast was tasty though. But the pool was out of order throughout our visit

We stayed at Hampton Inn Columbia and unfortunately had a very serious experience. While our vehicle was parked in the rear parking lot overnight, all four tires and rims were stolen. The thieves left the vehicle resting on cement blocks, causing additional damage to the side skirt, door alignment, and potentially other underbody components. I was notified by the police around 10:00 AM, just one hour before my scheduled checkout. Worst experience of my life. Stayed here one night only to have all four wheels of my car stolen over night. Another family who was also staying there had the same thing happen to them as well. Front desk told me after the fact that this has happened here before. The hotel also barely seemed to care or do anything to rectify the situation. No security cameras in back of hotel and no overnight security whatsoever. You’d think if this was a common occurrence they would try to increase security? Not the case here. Great location- here for a lacrosse tournament. General manager was extremely polite and helpful. Our second night the battery in our door died- an inconvenience. The gentleman at the front desk came and fixed it quickly.
