This review is an edit based off my previous Google Review on this location. I'd first like to thank the staff at the Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic District for being so professional and patient with me both during my stay and after. I had stayed at this hotel for one week back in May of '26 to attend corporate sales training for my new job. Everything was very pleasant during my stay with the exception of my final night. Edit to reply to the hotel's response: So it's ok for some guests to be waiting in the lobby after hours on the road, but it's not ok for others to be waiting for their flight at the airport? How is that fair. Anyway, you missed the most alarming points - the attitude of your front desk , the issues with the room. But it's ok. We won't be staying at this hotel next time . When we arrived the rooms weren't ready. The attitude of one front desk associate was unbelievably rude. Our room was ready at 4 pm ( with 3 pm check in time). The shower was not draining , the toilet was not flushing properly. One bed was so squeaky , my daughter was afraid to turn not to wake everyone up. Breakfast was ok. Location is very convenient. lady on the phone laughed at me for asking what number to call her back on if i didn’t receive an email receipt because i called the hilton overall number not the specific location. lady was nasty don’t recommend
