Ok at best, it's had a refit but still tired and needs thicker walls as you can hear people on both sides of your room. Air conditioning unit in the room, was so noisy I couldn't put it on. Fridge also very loud, just old appliances.

We had a good experience staying at this property while visiting University of South Carolina. Great location, clean rooms and available dining spots within walking distance. I would stay there again for my future visits.

We had a great one night stay at this Hampton location. The front desk attendant, Valencia, was very friendly and helpful when I asked to change the location of my room since the first was quite far from the elevator. Although the hotel was nearly sold out she went out of her way to find me a room closer to the elevator. Breakfast was a nice variety of options. Location is perfect for touring USC.

I was there for several days and observed the front desk closely. Staff would sit for 5–10 minutes at a time, multiple times an hour. Over an 8-hour period, this adds up to a ridiculous amount of wasted time. This is not acceptable in any professional environment and needs to be addressed immediately.The front desk team needs serious retraining. They looked bored, lazy, and honestly unmotivated.
