Had a room here only to learn it had CLOSED 3 days prior, March 26,2024. Signs have been removed from structure.
We show up and an individual just looks at me like I'm crazy and tells me this place is no longer a hotel. They still took my money for my reservation. I sat in the empty parking lot and kept rechecking the location to make sure I wasn't actually insane and yes this Hampton in was 100% empty aside from this one strange individual
Rm 518 elec outlet svcg the microwave and refrig is faulty -- very loose causing said items not to work properly. Reported to Frt Desk and was assured it would be looked into next morning -- I checked in approx 10 pm; upon checkout a couple days later no one came nor was the problem corrected. Wasn't greeted as a HH Member, appeared as though exterior ground maintenance has not been done since the change of seasons. I don't think I shall return to this specific hotel!
Excellent customer service, very friendly workers. Helpful with whatever we needed. Room was clean, fridge and microwave in the room. I had to attend a meeting on Zoom for an hour, WiFi worked well the whole time without issue. The workout room was under construction and there were no vending machines for a snack, but coffee was available in the lobby and in the room with a machine. The area was safe and lots of access to activities in Atlanta. This hotel will be our go-to stay in the future.
