Excellent food and very friendly customer service.
For years I wouldn't eat BBQ in any restaurant other than my Mom's Smokehouse in San Angelo. I never was a big fan anyway and getting hers 2 or 3 times a years was always plenty. Well, after 31 years she sold it and retired. We were visiting a relative Saturday in Glen Rose and decided from all the cars Hammonds must be the place to eat! I always love Texas BBQ. I had never been here before. It was a busy lunch time but the waitress was fast and friendly with our order. My sons plate arrived cold and we waited for our waitress but sense it took a while he finely asked another one about the cold food. She went and got our waitress and she fixed him another plate of hot food.The rest of our plates were good and warm but not hot.
