Hamilton’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlottesville. They consistently have delicious food. Their vegetarian “Blue Plate” special is always so creative and yummy. I have tried about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! Their soups are out of this world delicious and imaginative. You always get a basket of warm fresh bread with ramekin full of real butter! Don’t forget their desserts! I usually get the crème brûlée because it’s the best in town, but they have some awesome other desserts!

Our first visit to Hamiltons' at First & Main was for our Valentines/Anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, the service and the meal, all exceptional. Will definitely dine there again.
Ate here with family for a wedding anniversary. We all ordered different entrees and they were all delicious. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. Food was unusual but not over the top gourmet. We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.
