I'd been on a medication for 10 years with no side effects or problems. One week after I moved to a different state, he refused to continue refilling my prescription unless I came into the office every six months for blood work. That level of testing is ridiculous and nobody else on my medication has that requirement. I had to find another doctor immediately in order to stay on my meds. His only response was that it's his policy. Also, his office lost a significant amount of my medical records.
