I have had two visits with Dr. Ahmed. I felt he was thorough and I have scheduled follow-up appointments for scanning and discussing additional treatment if needed.
I was refused care for a referral from Va without even seeing me as a patient from Dr. Ahmed. I recommend all veterans in VA health systems to avoid getting any medical care from USA healthcare authority.
I am really disappointed in the treatment I have or ultimately not have received. I completed pages upon pages of information that took time out of my life to provide information about me for appropriate diagnosis and help from medical “professional”. I would’ve done better by using Web MD. I also came in with my own printed bloodwork tests and was still put through getting blood drawn for testing. I was also xrayed (hands, feet’s and legs). Dr Ahmed took the time to listen and figure out what was happening when others would not . He and his staff have gone above the standard in every way to get my needs taken care off .
Took eight months to get my prescription, then dropped me for not coming to a checkup for a medicine that I hadn't even received.
