Where to start? Service was awful. The girl we had was rude, clearly didn't want to be here. She didn't seem to have any idea how to interact with people. We had to ask for refills and instead of asking for our glasses she just did a "give me" hand motion. When we finally got our food they forgot my fries, and didn't even put in our order of onion rings. The hangover burger was delicious, and my husband loved the mushroom swiss burger. Will definitely make the hour long trip to this place again!
It was our servers first day and he did great. Loved the cinnamon rolls! Will go back.
Service was great, fries (regular and waffle) excellent, damn near perfect. Presentation, buns, cheese, garden bits, all good. We grabbed a pair of cinnamon buns for the next day, totally worth it. So why a 4? The meat... hot, but dry and hard, like over packed in a press or killed on the grill. We are always looking for unique places to eat. While perusing the internet for such places in Delaware, we decided The Hamburger Inn was our choice. We were not disappointed! The owner was very cordial, speaking to us several times, treating us to a delicious dessert. The burgers were fresh & there's nothing like that fresh grilled taste. Everything was wonderful! We will not hesitate to return one day. Thanks!

This was our first visit and it was great. I loved the sit at the counter atmosphere. And to top it all off there was malt vinegar for my fries.

Superb Hamburger. Ordered the 1/4 pd with bacon medium well. The server was wonderful. Visited during the Delaware arts festival. As opposed to living on their history and reputation. They are earning it each time I visit. :)
