Is this a Scam? I am selling a house that sits vacant in Gowanda. Out of the blue, I get a mechanics lein placed by Hamburg Overhead Door. Apparently a known criminal had been squatting and decided to do some improvements to my place. I called Hamburg Overhead Door and asked why they would install a garage door in a vacant house for sale, with no proof of ownership whatsoever. Donna said they do it all the time!
