RecommendedMy husband had his first Covid vaccine at Walter State Expo center this morning and he wanted to thank everyone for how well it was organized and how cordial the employees were. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.
I had my first Covid 19 vaccination yesterday at the health dept along with my sister and brother-in-law. We were all impressed by the kindness and efficiency of all the staff. They moved us through the process but took the time to answer our questions. Thank you to all the staff and military. We appreciated all of you in this stressful time.
I hope this is a good place to post my kudos to the Hamblen County Health Department. All that is on the news is how hard it is to get the vaccine, long lines, and insufficient supplies. My husband and I got our second vaccines today. The department personnel called us, scheduled us, and wham bam we have received our shots. Lines were short and the process was efficiently and pleasantly completed. Quick and absolutely painless. The medics administering the shots sure knew what they were doing. I went this morning for a COVD test and I watched the workers and I’m sure military volunteers. What an AWESOME JOB those individuals were doing !!!! Pouring rain and they were out there with there concerns for the people. As a county commissioner I heard a lady complaining in a meeting, about the coffee that they at the health department was getting in there budget. , I say coffee and more they deserve!!!. Some of the employees are rude but others are very helpful. A girl named Amy at check out took the time to explain what was going on! She made the visit much better just by taking the time to be nice!
You can't get anyone to return calls I have been trying to get a wic appointment since BEFORE my baby was born because that's what they told me to do. Rewind back to December right before Christmas finally got ahold of someone who then told me the soonest appointment was on the 28th I said of December and she said no of January I verified this date not one not 2 but THREE times she verified for JANUARY 28th so o called a few days before just to verify again and a different lady said oh you missed your appointment LAST MONTH ... read more
