This restaurant was recommended by our neighbors. We've been several times and it's always very good, no matter what you order. Rocky is one of a kind and aims to please his customers. I love soup in general and my favorite is the Matza ball soup. Sometimes I go just to get soup. Thank you for being genuine, having great food and wonderful service! God bless!

Like a New York Deli the meat is terrific. The owner takes pride in everything he makes. He does his own meats, spiral hams, roast beef etc. this new (last year) location on Clark is much bigger with plenty of parking and very nice accommodation for mom in her wheelchair. My French dip had a very tasty Au Jus and the bread was so fresh. Mom’s Reuben sandwich lived up to the boast “best in Sarasota.” We started with a chicken liver shmear and boy, was that great!

I tried a new place for lunch today! Ham Heaven and Devil Dog in Sarasota. I got a pastrami sandwich on rye with coleslaw and matzo ball soup. It was wonderful. The bread was fresh, and stick to the roof of your mouth soft, the pastrami was tender, not very salty and delicious. Coleslaw was crunchy and had a lot of dressing (that's how I like it ).
