I’m very sad today. Manager of Halt pest control called me and told me I no longer can have my account on hold. I would need to have service by the end of February to keep them. She said I was at a discounted rate. That’s because I’ve been with them many many years and the rate has changed since I first signed up. $77 every 3 months is still a lot to me. The company refuses to tell people who have had their services what treatment was done (or not done), if the people are renters. They simply tell adults who live in the treated residence that they "have to ask the apartment manager". This is infantilizing and unnecessary lack of customer service, in the form of refusing to divulge information to the adult resident whose home was treated. The receptionist cited "confidentiality".
