Will definitely use again! My first visit with Ira Halper was an emergency appointment to deal with a tooth ache I had. After xrays Dr. Halper had encouraged us to hold off on a root canal as the pain may be a result of my sinuses. Sure enough he was right! and saved me a lot of money and pain. It's really nice to have an honest dentist that doesn't just want to make another dollar. I'm going back tomorrow for a cleaning.

Let's be honest, nobody loves going to the dentist, but the people at this practice are some of the nicest people I know, not to mention excellent at what they do - all of them. I have been coming here for over 30 years and have long since moved out of Tarrytown. I continue to drive 40 minutes so that I can remain at this dental practice. They are kind, gentle and accommodating.
I saw Dr. Ira Halper for a second opinion after my dentist recommended extensive dental work (24 crowns). Dr. Halper fit me in the day after I contacted him; was personable, thorough; and clear in communicating his findings and conclusion. He also explained several aspects of my dental health that the original dentist had failed to mention. I only wish I could switch to this practice, and that I'd been seeing him for the last decade!
Always expedient, friendly, and helpful. They get all the credit for getting my teeth into shape after years of suboptimal care from other providers.
The staff do everything they can to make a patient comfortable. Dr. Halper kindly and patiently explained what I needed to know to decide with him how to proceed. And I trust his expertise having been his satisfied patient for a number of years.
