Dr. Hallbauer is so friendly and patient when I go in for an appointment, and is very good at answering my questions and putting me at ease. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and uses it in his practice.
In the age of fast-paced medicine, I am always amazed at how much time Dr. Hallbauer can spend with me. He really takes the time to ask questions, get to know me, and thus make sure my health needs are met. I really appreciate all that he and his staff does to make a difference. One can tell that this is not a job for Dr. Hallbauer, it is his calling.
Great doctors but, be ready to wait for well over an hour. My appointment was 10:15, I wasn't called back until 10:50 and had to wait in the room till 11:15 for the doctor. VERY THUROUGH DOCTORS but the office staff and wait time are almost unbearable.

Not one day passes that I don't begin the day with desire to be efficient & get home on time to see my family. Yet as the day progresses, I hear stories of pain, anxiety, frustration, impending death . . . & once again remember the main reason I felt called to practice medicine. So I must step off the conveyor belt for a few minutes to list more & offer some extra words of encouragement. And what's so humbling to me is that we never know when that person may be ME. I will do better tomorrow.
We always have plenty of time with the Doctor or Physician's Assistant. None have my family has ever felt or rushed during any of our healthcare appointments. Exams and consultations are very thorough and informative. The "bedside manner" is top-notch. Hallbauer and his Associates truly LISTEN.

Thank you for your kind words. Sarah and Merrit are excellent Physician Assistants. We do try to listen which can run us behind. However, we always make time for each patient and their concerns.
Had a consultation appt for MRI results, back pain. Appt at 8:30, 9:00 called back where a nurse took vital info. 10 minutes later an associate comes in to discuss type of pain I have and go over MRI results from the MRI co, they never looked at the images. 10 minutes later Dr H comes in to repeat what previous person said and recommend surgery. I started to explain pain to him and he cut me off saying he was running behind and didn't have time. VERY RUDE. 2 mins of 1 hr w/ Dr H. NOT GOING BACK

Wow. We do allow Conroe students and pre-professional students to shadow in our office. But this never takes the place of your time with the doctor. I personally try to listen to everyone until they're done voicing their concerns. If you felt cut off, then it's my fault and I do apologize.
