I've been a patient for this practice for about 10 years, maybe even longer. Over the course of that time, there's been many changes to the practitioners I see very regularly. Getting an appointment is multiple days, if not a week out at least. They've done everything they can to push you to a 'portal' experience. Dr hallbauer, he Is an awesome doctor. He truly listens to you. And takes excellent care of you. Just seen In August of 2023. But I have been going there close to 10 years now. Katie is so amazing too. If you are truly in need of a GREAT DOCTOR, who is a loving , kind, compassionate CHRISTIAN DOCTOR. Doctor Hallbauer is the RIGHT DOCTOR. Had to change doctors unexpectedly, was led to FMAC. Walked in hearing KSBJ, was politely greeted, check-in went smoothly and I was called back sooner than expected given I showed up early. Nurse was nice, loved the personalization of the room, truly felt like a great family doctors office! I was seen by Dr. Hallbauer, he set, listened & helped find the medication that was best for me and my budget since I am currently uninsured.
What a fantastic doctor! I felt like I was visiting with an old friend. Comfortable setting surrounded by a lovely staff. Dr. Hallbauer was warm, listened to my story, and provided great feedback and wisdom. Two thumbs way up!
I really like Dr Hallbauer and his staff, but I’ve been trying to get a referral for 2 1/2 weeks now to an Endocrinologist for a biopsy of my Thyroid and I have called and left 4 messages for the lady who does the referrals to call me back. I’m still waiting, evidently there’s only 1 person in that office that can do a referral. It is absurd to expect a worried patient to just sit around and wait. I’ve been told the last 3 times that she was sent a high priority message to call me. Tomorrow, I change doctors.

I hesitate to recommend Dr. Hallbauer, not because he's not an incredible doctor, but because I don't want everyone to know and have to share him. I tried several doctors before landing with Dr. Hallbauer and always felt like those doctors looked at patients as cattle to be hearded and not heard. It is truly rare to find a doctor that actually cares and I feel I hit the jackpot with Dr. Hallbauer.
First time visit. Staff accommodating; longer than usual wait time up to 35 minutes. Dr. Hallbauer spent much needed time discussing complex RX regime, possible interactions that are contraindicated for best results and recommendation plan to go forward after consult with cardiologist. Knowledge of pharmacological interactions well above average for Family Practice physician in my opinion. Initial intake of new patient data only about 3-star average for a new patient overall.
