The couple of times that I've been there with my parents were okay. The food was good and just tryna give the local (non franchise) businessman the business. I must say that the appetizer that I had (Beef/Steak Tips) were delicious and tender. The Ribs are the best in town and I had a mouth all ready to eat me some, unfortunately, there were none available at that time. Ok this is a shame. Class of 82 had to wait over an hour to get seated. One hour too long past our reservation time and the manager "George" flat out told us TOO BAD" in so many words. The little short waitress with the long black hair gave us a very hard time. We end up not being able to sit together (3 different tables) and not even a discount on an appetizer. I like this spot BUT NOT enough to pay a cover charge of $10. My Friday Night plans with my girls....CANCELED!!!!!!

1ST TIME VISTOR...Visited Hallback's last nite and I must say...Well Done!!! From the entrance to the decor the atmosphere the food the music (live band) to the customer service to the mix of people and last but not least at the end of the evening the Hallback's joining in on the line dance...FUNTIMES..if I have 1 negative thing to say is the way the seats were positioned it was little tight getting in and out...But overall 10+ will go back again and again...
Had lunch at Hallback's today. The food was the bomb, I haven had yams and Mac n cheeze that taste that good since my mom passed in 2006..The service was great and we even got to mingle with the owner and his family...when you get the chance go check them out.

I think it has a great view because of the runways. I will have to say every comment by the waitress was I don't know or we can't do...when we asked about the speakers to listen and could not get any signal she just said I don't know instead of asking a peer or higher up how we could get it to work. We had ordered our food and she said we would have to change our food because not enough pasta..I said can't they just split it under the chicken parmigiano. ..finally got after she had to go to kitchen twice. This place is a fabulous find. The food is a jazzy mix of grown-folks down home southern cuisine meets uptown urban eats. The taste, flavor, and quality are a bona fide value. The best part of all is the staff makes you feel like a long lost cousin at a family reunion… you feel like you are part of the family.
EXCELLENT!!! There's no cooking like my family's cooking! I'm thankful for the blessing of them being gifted and positioned to share the pleasure of good eats, family, and fun with the world!
