My name is Connie Williams. I just left dr. Robinson this morning on an initial visit for my daughter who is a high-risk patient. I felt compelled to write this review because this is one of the best experiences I've had with a medical doctor so for. Dr Robinson's demeanor was very down-to-earth and approachable. Dr. Helena is horrible. She is the worst GI doctor I have came across. I hope that you don’t have the same experience I have had with her.
I had the rudest experience! Everytime I used to go for a pregnancy visit. He will tell me flip up your belly! -0-?
Horrible bed side manner. Got induced for my last pregnancy he told them when to pop my water and still had to wait on him. My nurse almost had to deliver my son. Would definitely not recommend him to anyone.
He gets NO Stars. Worst experience of my life. I have never in my life have had to wait a week for bloodwork results because he sends blood to New Jersey.... there is no reason to send it that far with all the labs in Lafayette Louisiana. He told me he only deals with Lafayette general. I'm not stupid. Lafayette General has it's own lab. My primary Dr. ( who only deals with Lafayette general) gets my blood results the same day. Dr Robinson is awesome! He is caring and makes sure you understand what's going on.
Been looking for a good GYN. I’ve had a few bad ones in the past . It always hard for me to take that step and do GYN appointment because I’ve been through a lot but Dr Robinson was very kind and patient with me even though I was so nervous to go get pap done . Very understanding doctor . Decided to keep him as my GYN .
Dr Robinson delivered my granddaughter and his attention and his helpful explanations were very important to us. He allowed my daughter to design her birth experience the way she wanted it to be. At the last minute, her delivery became an emergency as the baby could not drop because of a dangerously shot umbilical cord. He allowed me and the babys father to come into the delivery room and be there for her. I am forever grateful for his help and attention to her.
I would recommend Dr. Robinson to future patients. 4 years ago he delivered my daughter and at the time, yes I found his bedside manner to be very blunt but I returned for my 3rd pregnancy. I found that he was very informative and genuinely asked how I was feeling and how my pregnancy is going. He makes me feel very comfortable talking about things throughout my pregnancy. I am in and out of the office. The staff are extremely nice and make you feel comfortable.
