Cutting the power off on elderly stroke victims.
Their rates are too high and they charge their customers for coal ash recovery. we did not dump coal ash and should not be responsible for it's cost. they also will not work with customers like other electric companies do. during the global crisis they are disconnecting electric service.... even disabled and severely sick people.
I wanted Duke energy but they don't come to my area
yall have some awesome people that work for you, the guys who came to Hatkers Island to restore power after hurricane florence did outstanding job. all of us at Harkers Island Fire&Rescue along with community members appreciate the time and hard work AMD long hours these guys put in.
As much has you all charge for power you would think when power lines and trees are in middle of street IT WOULD BE HIGH PRIORITY TO COME FIX IT
This company is the worst. My bill went from 150 to 200 to 300 to 461 now to 302 for the last 4 months.I live in a singlewide. My mother has a 5bedroom double with more people and someone there all the time. My bill is 64 less then her bill. Nothing has changed with the useage in electricity. I have one tv connected, engery efficiency appliances, serviced my heating unit, had auditor to come to the house, the temperature is set on 65 at all time never moves and new underpinning. I am very pleased with their service and their prices...I've had Roanoke EMC and NC power..I prefer Halifax EMC over all of them..Great people to do business with...
