Halibut House in Thornhill has a very good atmosphere with a big, neat dining saloon that feels comfortable and inviting. The staff are welcoming and attentive, especially Rina, who showed great hospitality and made our visit pleasant. We ordered Halibut and Cod dishes with fries. The quality was good overall, but the Cod was a bit tasteless, and I’ve had more flavorful fish and chips in other restaurants. That said, the experience was enjoyable, and I might come back to try some of their other dishes.
I am comparing this location to the Etobicoke location This location near Bathurst & Centre is very clean & welcoming. The halibut fish was fresh 😋 but that is about it... My fries where cold but the worst part was... The fish chowder it was horrible it tasted like cornstarch & water nothing else but black pepper
Fresh seafood and very good service I like the atmosphere there.
The most decent fish and chips that have found in and around Vaughan. Coleslaw amount is slightly disappointing but everything else was good.
