Great place for breakfast with eggs, toast, potatoes and choice of meat for $5.95. Coffee/tea and little expensive at $3.95.
Have been going to Halibut house regularly but recently noticed quite a increase in their prices especially for halibut as it went from $21.95 to $24.95. Even at $21.95 i felt it was highly priced compared to other fish and chip places but at halibut house it had lots of sitting and their service was quite good. However since checking out prices after this increase had me wondering whether their cost really was worth it, i have found Union Jacks in St.Catharines on 4th st sells Halibut for $15.95. The best place in Niagara area for fish. The batter is light and amazing. But what makes them stand out from the rest is the way the fish is cut! In a rectangle shape with no thin end pieces to get stuck to the batter and hard (like every other fish place) Lakeport, Queens, Serbian Hall, the Legion and Chip n Charlie’s. We have tried them all and Halibut House Niagara is #1!!!!!!!
Worst experience. The food last night gave my husband food poisoning..... It tasted like they cooked the fries in the fish oil. I will not be going back here. Disgusting and not worth $30 for us to eat. 🤮 I didn't finish my meal
