I recently moved to NY from RI about 5 months ago and dreaded the idea of having to find another mechanic that I trusted. Halfmoon auto care was AMAZING. Friendly, professional, HONEST. I was so impressed with the service they provided I will most certainly be going back to them in the future for any car needs. Bob is a great guy. He is honest and does good work. He is my go to mechanic. Over the years he has continued to provide excellent car care for my family, for my friends and for me. I trust him, which is says a lot. He goes out of his way to ensure he can do the most cost effective work for each situation. This is the first honest mechanic I have been to in long time. Bob is all around knowledgeable and have now been to him twice. His prices are reasonable for excellent work! It’s great to not feel ripped off! I feel very fortunate to have found Halfmoon Auto Care and will continue to look to Bob for needed autocare.

Hands down one of the most honest auto repair shops i have ever been to. Don't be fooled by the theory that dealerships know your car better than an independent shop. Bob knows his stuff, getting repairs done quickly and correctly, while valuing his time and yours. Very fair labor rates and upfront about the costs of replacement parts.

Bob and his team are driven by customer satisfaction. They go above and beyond to make they're customers happy and to give them peace of mind. They're true mechanics, not your dealership "Technician" who only knows how to fix something if the onboard computer tells them. On top of all that, his prices beat the chain places and he gives you confidence in knowing the work was done right.
