This is what happened to us Saturday night my fiancé wanted to eat at Half Shell for his birthday & his son was flying in from California for his birthday weekend. So I called Monday to make reservations for 20 people the manager talked to me & let me know they didn't do reservations but did call ahead seating. He was very accommodating & told me he would go ahead & put us down for Saturday for 6:30, if anything changed & we had less people or more to call & let them know, I told him I would. Excellent food, service, price. Wish we would have came here first day. Love it.
Last night we had made reservations for my brother and nephew's birthdays. We were their for 6:30, was told that could not sit us until all number in the party arrived. Of course we had a nurse in the group that had to work and wouldn't arrive until after 7:30. So for over an hour we had 18 people waiting to be seated. In that 18 people we had 7 children and someone that had just gotten out of the hospital, cancer survivor, WAITING!! Food and service was amazing. Will definitely do this again.
Took an hour to get food. Kitchen is unable to handle restaurant addition. This is my last trip to half shell Gulfport. They should close this restaurant before it gives the other locations a bad name. Will stop only at Biloxi location.
Amazing food! My husband and I enjoyed everything. I just wish we had a restaurant in the Pacific Northwest!
