I wish that I had found Dr. Vertel and Half Moon earlier! My 5 year old had been to a few other dentists with varying amounts of success, but they were unable to do a consistently good cleaning, or to take x-rays. By the time we found Half Moon he had a number of cavities, and needed treatment which was done under oral sedation. Dr. Vertel and her staff were kind and friendly, and were easily able to provide the treatment needed. They put us both at ease, and made me feel confident that we were in the right place. My son has autism and needed a lot of work done on his teeth, root treatments, crowns and extractions. Half moon was amazing. The work that was done is excellent and they kept him happy and comfortable throughout it all. She even kept me calm when i was getting anxious. He likes going to the dentist. The new office is beautiful as well. She understands special needs children, treats them with respect and goes the extra mile for them.
Absolutely an amazing and wonderful experience! Dr. Vertel is so warm, kind and exceptional. The whole staff was amazing. My 2 and 3.5 year old loved it and are excited to go back! What a relief as a parent. Her knowledge and tips for better dental care are so appreciated. This is what dentistry should be about! Thank you!
Absolutely the best place for kids. My son had a great experience for his extractions and we got a phone call that evening checking in on my son....so thoughtful. We highly suggest going to Half Moon :) Thank you so much :)
Dr. Vertel was nothing but AMAZING with my 3 year old Son. She gives her cell phone number incase of complications, she CARES for her patients and follows through with everything she says. She makes your children feel comfortable and also the parents! I will recommend her to ANYONE! Amazing woman!
