Fantastic time with Maya. I initially only booked a consultation because I was looking to make a more dramatic change in my haircut, and immediately I felt my hair was in good hands with her. She listened to what I was asking for carefully, and delivered exactly what I was looking for which was a more alternative haircut. Additionally, she was very skilled in working with and diffusing my curly hair and even gave me helpful tips on how to do it myself. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Maya! From our initial appointment, she listened to what I wanted, current and future plans, and gave me exactly what I wanted. Every time she has cut my hair, I’ve left beyond happy with my new hairdo. When I moved to PGH from Texas, I was worried I wouldn’t find a stylist who took care of me the way my friends did back home. But luckily I found that person for me at the beautiful Halcyon Salon. I trust no one but Maya to touch my head and would recommend her to anyone!

Had my first visit to Halcyon and Cassie was so wonderful! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and explained exactly how she was cutting my hair to achieve it. We had a great conversation and she was very helpful with my questions of how to care better for my hair type and what products could facilitate that. I will definitely be returning! 🪲
