Disheartened by Halbinsel in Escanaba. I had a disappointing experience with Halbinsel Mazda in Escanaba, MI. In 2021, I purchased the top-of-the-line Mazda Miata with high hopes of quality service. However, within just one year, my oil change cost doubled. In 2022, the service was priced around $61, but in 2023, I was shocked to be charged roughly $120 for the same routine service. We had an oil change at a non VW place and they installed a gasket wrong which caused oil to leak. We were enroute to Milwaukee from Marquette MI and called your tesm. They squeezed us in and replaced the broken gasket, re-did the oil change, washed our oil covered car, and we were back on the road and made it to the concert!
Possibly the worst Service I’ve ever received. The problem is that they are the only place that can do in depth work on Mazdas in the UP. The only way to avoid them is to not own a Mazda.
Ease of scheduling,great communication. Friendly staff,work was completed in a timely manner and done properly.
