I've loved going to Halbert for the past 25 years. I used to take my kids to the wading pool and for swimming lessons. For years going to daily lane swim has been a lighlight of my summer. My husband always says, "Why would we get a pool when we have Halbert?" This is a hidden gem of a pool that we need to use so we don't lose it!
Great day! Pool all to ourselves Little girls room is clean, though there is no soap dispenser. Just a bottle that I'm not sure what it says Guessing it's hand soap.
Unfortunately, my experience at Halbert Park Outdoor Pool on July 14 was very disappointing. I came with my children expecting a fun and safe pool visit, but instead felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The way the lifeguard/manager spoke to me and the children felt rude and unnecessary. I understand safety rules are important, but they can be communicated respectfully.
