Lived up to the hype Best haircut in 16 years for me. Notably superior job on back of my head, around the ears, side burns, back of my neck. Call for an appointment. Cash or check only. Cost me $35. Location is walking distance to the 3rd Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place mall. Pam was very nice to me and she said many kind words to me. Will repeat as customer.
A Cut Above Great haircut, great service, very fair pricing for all services. Pam is truly a master barber and has a masterful personality. She can almost always find a way to make time for you... Sometimes she even has beer in refrigerator...
Prof Rick If you want a great hair cut, a friendly local atmosphere, and a reasonable price go see Pam at the "Hairs the Place". It is the opposite of going to a large impersonal chain. Then stroll the promenade or walk down to the Pier.
Not Just for Men!! Pam has been my hair stylist/barber extraordinaire for over 30 years! She is extremely talented when it comes to fitting hair cut to face - a true artist. Everything these reviewers have said is true-they just left out that she does a wonderful job on women too! And not only will you leave with the best haircut ever, you will have thoroughly enjoyed yourself! Lifetime Best Haircut I just came home from my first cut with Pam at Hair's the Place. Not only did I get an excellent haircut, but I got hot towels on my face and a shave with a straight razor (she uses a new blade every share). Pam was concerned about every hair on my head, eyebrows, ears and neck, double checking on her work and carefully eliminating each errant hair she missed. I've never had a haircut from so committed and competent a person. Bravo and standing ovation.
A CUT ABOVE! THE BEST! Nothing like a great cut and the best severvice. I was in town from Oregon and came across the best shop I've ever been too! Makes me wish she had a shop in Oregon. Pam talks your blues away and makes you feel right at home. Thanks! I'll be back!!
Cool spot, great cut Most of my life I've been a supercuts kind of guy, find the cheapest place around, get in, get out. Over the past year I grew my hair out and decided to get it done properly when I made the decision to go short again. Couldn't have made a better choice than this establishment. If Only Samson Had Met Pam If only Samson had met Pam, his strength would have grown with each hair she cut. Like an artist staring at a blank canvas, she envisions the result she will achieve before the first "brushstroke" of her magic scissors, then goes on to outdo even her own imagination. I often wish that my hair would grow faster so I could entrust it to Pam more often, since I always leave Hair's the Place with greater self-confidence than I had at the beginning of the adventure.
Being PAM-perred Pam's the greatest! Makes me glad that my genes have kept me from becoming bald. Even if I do lose my hair, I'll keep going back just for the experience. We never run out of things to talk about. I wish she would cut the hairs one at a time, but I wouldn't want to monopolize her time and deny others the privilege of visiting her. I always look forward to being PAM-perred.
