RecommendedWhen we moved from a major, metropolitan area to Pittsboro, we were afraid that the excellent pet care and grooming services to which we had access would not be replicated in our new digs. Boy, were we wrong. Our "Bobi" has never looked better or been more chill about going in for a groom. The vibe of Hair of the Dog makes you feel confident that you are trusting your dog to folks who know exactly what they are doing. As importantly, they clearly love their clients! We were so lucky that our vet recommended them.
I recently took my seventh month old morkie for his first haircut with Hair of the Dog grooming and was pleased with his new do. I highly recommend them. They were so sweet and nice. Amazing staff, amazing service! As a dog parent, you want nothing more than to know your dogs are loved and treated with care. Hair of the Dog gives our pups that and more. We actually call grooming days a “play date”. My dogs come home beautifully groomed and happy. Pricing is is very reasonable. We own a Bichon and a Bichon/Poodle mix. We’ve spent a LOT of time with groomers and we couldn’t appreciate HOTD more! 👩🏻🍳❤️🐶🐶
Professional grooming Parlor with Kindness to both creatures great & small
I have a Yorkie that I don’t have a puppy cut or a full show cut and I have a hard time with groomers wanting to cut her short. Hair of the Dog did Perfect!
They are beyond amazing. My pup loves going there and that is a rarity. The staff is great.
ZERO stars! Brought my Shih Tzu in for a grooming, flea free and she came out covered in fleas. When I called the store I was told I can give my dog a bath to kill the fleas. They offered nothing, not to bring her back to get a flea bath not my next grooming free or discounted. I do not recommend!
Friendly & professional staff. We love the Do-It-Yourself Dog Washing area, is always clean & ready to use.
