Now, it's a hit or miss sort of thing, but I do not want to gamble with such matters, they were sweet to my 93 yr. old Mom. I felt like the ubiquitous generic cutter was just that, I am sorry I tipped her. I shouldn't have. But, at the same time I will not do it again -- go there. I need to get a hair cut for professional reasons; something that has some style not an unprovoked haircut by a 20 year old grocery clerk.

I have been going to Hair Cuttery in Riverdale Park Station in Maryland since 2016 and the Hair Stylist' are very professional, pleasant and do a great job. Specifically, Helen W. has been my Stylist for 3 years and she always does a suberb job in cutting and styling my hair so I look and feel great. After reading this place has Sunday hours and no appt. was needed, I thought I would give them a try since I was recovering from illness and hadnt had my hair done professionally in a couple of months. After waiting a couple of minutes, I stood at the cash register and the two women that I believed to be the manager/owner ignored me. I had an appointment for which I was 30 minutes early for, with no others waiting, and they let another person walk in for the treatment I asked for with my haircut. I was told they didn't have enough time for me while the walk in was treated immediately and before me. I have no other reason to believe this occurred other than bias and disregard of me as a customer. I refused service as a result. I went to a different Hair Cuttery location for service that could do their job with respect.
Says walk ins welcome but when you go in they turn you away because they say there are only two people on. Would except that excuse if one of you was not sitting on your but at the shampoo station talking. Guess you never want my business or anyone I can spread the word to. Terrible customer service if I could give it zero stars I would.
Maria did a fab job on my hair color and cut could not be happier..I’m used to paying much more at a higher end shop so I gave her a good tip she deserved it also gave me a shampoo that took away my headache....I will def be going back to see her
Absolutely unacceptable! Worst hair cuts we have had in a long time. Trying to do the entire head with the trimmers trying to make it easy for themselves. Butchered my 14 year old sons hair today, hes completely upset about it. Will not return here and I do not recommend going here if you care about your hair!
