The first time going to this hair cuttery on Grand in Gurnee and the last. I didn’t even get to get a hair cut before I walked out. If you are black don’t bother to go you will property not get waited on. I make an 1100 appointment which I got there about 10 minutes early to get a feel of the place. When I checked in the lady was not very friendly and neither were the stylist. I have been going to Hair Cuttery for quite a few years and the staff is always friendly. Except the manager. On numerous occasions, I have witnessed the manager (Berna) arguing with the customers over pricing, demanding payment for services and interrogating the customers regarding their ignorance to company pricing. She doesn't see anything wrong with reprimanding/yelling at the hairstylists for whatever she perceives as an infraction of her rules.
