This haircut was the most fulfilling haircut I've had! He actually took the time to make it happen, even using my reference photo over and over again instead of the usual "glance at it once at consultation and never again". I'm even surprised at how beautiful and intentional the layers looked! All in all, my hair looked AMAZING at the end of it, and I am still in love with how it looks a couple days later. Had a really great experience at Hair By Masa. He nailed my haircut better than any of the other places I have tried. Very polite and friendly and really well priced considering wash cut and style were included. Definitely won’t be going anywhere else.
Masa is the best! He has been cutting my hair for over a year, and he has also been doing my wife’s hair treatments and haircuts. Aside from always looking great afterward, my favorite part about his salon is that it feels like his own little oasis. It is so peaceful when you walk in - relaxing visuals on the TV, soft music playing, and a very clean, calming atmosphere. He also has a heated chair when he washes your hair. Okay, I came to Masa to fix a haircut disaster (heavy choppy bangs, uneven lengths) and somehow left feeling lighter than I had in weeks. He works like he's painting...quick, sure hands, every snip just right, a little bit magical. He spent 4–5 years training in Japan plus an apprenticeship, and honestly? You can tell.
