Joey does an amazing job. I drive over an hour to have him do my hair and it is worth it! I have curly/wavy hair and he does a fantastic job of working with the natural curl. My hair always looks so good afterwards. I have tried to go to other stylists but they just can't replicate his work--even just for a trim. His salon is so relaxing and beautiful. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful, spa-like experience! I came from an hour and a half away to get my cut and highlights and will definitely continue coming back. Love the serenity of the salon, Joey's desire to give you the perfect style, and the amazing massage chair. I usually dread going to get my hair done but I'm looking forward to going back. Recommend Highly!

Whoohoo! Joey can cut hair, especially hair-with-attitude ...my hair has so much it's got its own name: Wanda. I'm a salt & pepper headed woman who wanted a fashionable wash & wear haircut that can be styled up with product for special occasions. I'm on my 4th haircut with Joey and I'm getting head-turning, comment-generating great cuts. The cut is so good that it is worth my drive from West Seattle.

I have never really been happy with the cuts my curly hair has received until now. After visiting 3 different stylists, attempting to describe what I wanted and being completely ignored, I worried that I might be pinning too much hope on Joey. Joey doesn't talk too much (like other stylists I've had), he takes time to listen to what you want done with your hair, and he's super efficient. Best of all though, he isn't afraid of hearing that he didn't give you the cut you wanted. During my first appointment with Joey I asked for long layers, volume, and thinning, I looked in the mirror and what I saw was not what I had imagined in my head. So I told him. This is hands down the best haircut I have ever had and I have never received as many compliments! As if that weren't enough Joey is also a delight to know, extremely easy to work with, and his home studio is the best (very private, with free parking out front). What more could you ask for?

I loved my new haircut. The color wasn't exactly was I'd envisioned, but Joey follows up each visit to make sure that you're 100% satisfied. It was easy to schedule a free return in the following week. On the second try, Joey got it right. His customer care is absolutely genuine! Oh... and did I mention the warm and relaxing ambiance of his salon, the single French press coffee, or the massage chair that is almost as good at massaging as an actual masseuse? I've finally found my hair stylist for life. Joey, thank you!

I was looking for a local salon and found the Hair By Joey Salon. I have to say, I am someone that dislikes salons and have given myself more than a few bad haircuts to avoid them. Joey's salon is different. He puts you at ease, and the environment is really comfortable and relaxed. I love that he has photos of the haircuts he has done on his website and everything is so geared toward his clients. My haircut experience with him was great.
