I was happy to be a living donor for my father and have no regrets. I do have some concerns for other living donors if they plan on doing this at hahnemann. My surgeon was great, and made me feel very comfortable. The transplant was successful and my father no longer needs dialysis. But that is where the care for the Living Donor Ends. Unfortunately i had 2 follow up surgeries from the transplant. (surgical hernia, and a hematoma removal) .
