Do not EVER rent from them. We called needing service done on the dishwasher. It took their service person two more visits to fix the problem. Same thing happened with the refrigerator. Took several visits before problem fixed. Finally, started contacting homeowner directly when we had a problem. HMC was not happy with us for calling homeowner instead of them. Out of the blue we received notice that homeowner was not going to renew our lease (after being there 3 years!). We had alot of problems finding comparable size for co... read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! First off when the guy who showed us the apartment was showing us around we asked him about parking. He took us out to show us the parking lot we could use. Being that my boyfriend and I both have a vehicle we needed to know if there were enough parking spaces for both of our cars. We were pleased with the apartment so we decided to rent it. could be a awesome company if they would get a nice lady around there instead of the rudest human I have ever met in my life.... and to think I was honestly thinking of renting from this company.... Best of luck to anyone that does my only input is try to not handle any of your business with kathy she not easy to deal with at all and is the reason I will not be doing business with this company anymore.

When we rented through HMC, we thought it would be great because there was a company that would be taking care of us- we anticipated hassle-free fixes, prompt and accurate communication, and just a generally more professional atmosphere. This was not the case at all- they hardly ever returned our phone calls- we eventually had to contact the homeowner directly and work directly with her.
