We bought our home from Ben in 2020. It was a beautiful design and has held up exceptionally well! He designed it with a wonderful open layout and had nice touches like the arched kitchen ceiling.
In July 2020, I purchased a home from Ben Hagaman that he had built and rented out since 2018. The home was listed as having "engineered hardwood throughout". I am unfamiliar with flooring types, so I took their word on it. Engineered hardwood and hardwood were mentioned at least 3 times in the MLS listing. We found out a couple weeks after moving in that the flooring type was not hardwood at all, and only laminate planks.
