From the first office visit I knew that this team was going to be a different experience than I’d had before for my spine issues. I walked in bent over and turned sideways and lived with daily pain. I was scheduled for a lumbar discectomy. I arrived at surgical center about 2 hours before the surgery. The staff were very helpful in answering questions, and getting me prepped for my procedure. Dr. Haft came in to answer any questions, and i must say, his demeanor really put me at ease. I walked down the hall to the OR, sat down on a table, and that’s the last thing i remember until i was being awakened from the anesthetic. Dr Haft is an excellent communicator and takes time to visit about my back surgery! ALL HIS STAFF, is excellent from scheduling, loving.and compassionate care at Avera to the care and checking after the return home! I am a strong advocate of.Dr Taft and.all his entire team!!!!

Dr Haft is a very skilled surgeon. He performed surgery on me and my debilitating symptoms were relieved immediately. He has compassion and genuine concern for his patients. His office staff is efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him as a pediatric specialist or adult spine orthopedist.

My 6th grade daughter had been having some pretty severe back pain. I just thought it was muscle related and would get better - then she developed some leg numbness! As you can imagine we were quite concerned as parents and called Dr. Haft's office for an appointment on recommendation from a previous patient of his. We were able to see Dr. Haft in a timely manner and after some advanced imaging he found that she had a fracture of her spine. I ended up in the ER for severe pain in my right leg. I was referred to Dr. Haft and he diagnosed me with severe spinal stenosis, I had a last appointment with Dr. Haft about my severe spinal stenosis, they did a MRI which proved it, he told me I was faking it. Then went to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. where I am currently being treated. He doesn't deserve a rating!!!

Dr Haft is amazing!!! He gave my little girl the gift of walking normal after she was born with bilateral clubbed feet. I believe without Dr Haft my little girl wouldn’t be able to walk normal!!! He is the absolute best and I will be forever greatful for him!

Absolutely excellent experience. Dr. Haft accurately diagnosed my problem, clearly explained the circumstances if issue remained untreated and very successfully accomplished the surgery he proposed. My physical problem was overwhelmingly improved. I am very happy.
