In terms of surgical capability, knowledge, bedside manner and professionalism, Dr Hafron is best surgeon I have experienced over the many surgical and medical procedures in our family. We have worked with many fine, capable surgeons, but Dr. Hafron is the best.
Dr. Hafron is a superbly competent, calm, caring and easy-speaking physician. He took his time to explain my procedure and answered all my questions. I felt reassured in my decision to seek out his clinical expertise. During the procedure, he sensed my nervousness and spoke with me in a very soothing manner, which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. It is no coincidence that Dr. Hafron has such a high star rating.
Excellent results
I was referred to Dr. Hafron by my Urologist after being diagnosed with prostrate cancer. Dr. Hafron provided an extremely through explanation for removal of the prostrate by robotic surgery. I elected for the surgery and could not be more pleased with the results. The professionalism of Dr. Hafron, his staff,and the treatment received while in the hospital was exceptional. Without hesitation I would refer Dr. Hafron to anyone who was in need of his services.

Dr. Hafron was referred by from Dr. Hollander, both of the well regarded MI Institute of Urology. This was due to my suffering malignant neoplasm of prostate. Dr. Hafron is a specialist with highly developed skills in treating malignancy such as mine. My treatment included Lupron, followed by Elegard. In addition, Zytiga together with prednisone, for late-stage, castration-resistant prostate cancer, and with Xgeva. His knowledge of the latest techniques has preserved my life. I thank you much!
Dr. Hafron performed a robotic prostatectomy on me in October, 2016. Prior to the surgery, he explained everything clearly and answered all my questions regarding alternative treatments for my prostate cancer. I could not be happier with the results and I would highly recommend Dr. Hafron to anyone having a urologic health issue.
My husband had a 7-hr. operation for bladder cancer We would highly rec and then went home in 3 days with no complications. Dr Hafron fully explains everything and is a very caring doctor. He also sent my husband to Beaumont Hospital for a class on prepping 6 wks. before surgery. This helped great deal. We would highly recommend Dr. Hafron any urology needs. He is an excellent doctor.
