I visited Dr. W. Haffenreffer several times for back pain when he practiced in Oregon many years ago. He had an X-ray machine that he assured me was safe and would subject me to minimal exposure. So he took several X-rays of my back. Each time I visited him my back pain was worse until I could hardly walk. With passing time it improved somewhat. Later, a specialist did an MRI and X-rays.
