The staff is superb. One could not imagine more helpful, welcoming, and hospitable people. On top of that, this 1834 hotel has more class and personality than the Duke of Wellington ;).

We recently stayed at Hadley's Orient Hotel in Hobart and found the hotel to be clean, well-maintained, and full of historic charm. The staff were a standout and were always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about local attractions, restaurants, and things to do around Hobart. The breakfast was available at an additional cost. Exceptional on all fronts! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our honeymoon and fell utterly in love with the place. The aesthetic is unmatched, and made me nostalgic for a time I wasn't even alive for. We absolutely loved all the little touches like the newspaper with historical information about the hotel and the plaques around the place sharing facts.
