We had a lot of cleaning and repair work completed on expensive carpets. That work was done correctly. While the carpets were in their shop we also had appraisals done on the carpets. Hadeed insisted that full payment be made for the work before the carpets would be returned, and the full payment was provided including a payment of $150 for the appraisals. To date we have not received the appraisals. Many calls to Joe Hadeed have gone unanswered.
Very disappointed. I had Hadeed Carpet size down my mother’s favorite rug after she died so it would fit in my house. They charged me $2,500 to clean and re-size it; it was a beautiful custom-made piece and was very sentimental to me, so I figured it would be worth the expense. They assured me it would look great, but when I got it back it was pieced together like a patchwork quilt; the border wasn’t lined up at all and it was completely ruined. Beyond disappointed. Our Persian rug was picked up for cleaning and sanitizing; it was to be handed down as a gift for our daughter who just bought her new house. Upon return, we kept it wrapped in the brown paper. Unrolled it for her and it looked and smelled UNTOUCHED! Called Hadeed (Richmond) and calmly described the issue. RecommendedThey did a fantastic job! Not only did they clean the rug, they also made repairs. They gave me an estimate for repairs after washing it and I had options. When we were not available for the delivery on the day they scheduled, I easily changed the date with one phone call. I recommend!
I have been a Hadeed customer for many years, and have enjoyed many of their services, including rug cleaning, hardwood floor polishing and cleaning, furniture cleaning, and dryer vent cleaning. Recently I hired them to clean my shower tile and regrout around the base. The man who came (Arthur) told me that grout only comes in two colors, and he would have to return another day to complete the job because he needed to purchase grout. I paid them a deposit and when they came to my house they where trying to sell me more. I had to call them to see if my rugs where ready to be delivered. They told me if the rugs we're not paid then they would charge me a storage fee. The day they were to deliver, they call me and told me they had a mix up in the rugs and one of my rugs wasn't there and they would deliver the next day. I felt like they didn't clean my rugs that well. I wouldn't use them again.
Each time I called, they were very nice. My rugs were delayed by more than a week, but I never encountered anyone who wasn't pleasant.
Just had Hadeed clean and Sanitize my oriental rugs and carpeting and their service was outstanding. I believe the prices were very fair as well. They were on time, extremely courteous and helpful in the pick up, were right on time with the return and made the whole event totally seamless and headache free. I couldn’t be happier!
