Hacienda Mexican Restaurants started in 1978, in Mishawaka, Ind., in a converted Georgian-style brick home. The concept was to provide authentic Mexican food and drinks, with music and a party atmosphere, seven days a week. An absolute abomination to call this Mexican. This is “white people taco night” Mexican. As soon I saw the menu I knew we were in trouble. If we weren’t with a group we would’ve got up and left. The chips were the thin type like Chilis but undercooked. The salsa tasted like blended canned tomatoes. The rice was undercooked and under seasoned. Our server was super nice and very understanding, I'm a bit of a picky eater but she understood and helped a lot with that! I believe her name was Millie. She was absolutely spectacular :]
