A perennial favorite among St. Louis' Mexican-food lovers, the Hacienda offers a colorful atmosphere for dining as well as a large, diverse menu. There is outdoor dining in warm weather, too. The fajitas are wonderful, as are the "Top Shelf" quesadillas (flour tortillas with cheddar and jack cheese, fresh mushrooms, chile poblano and red bell pepper). You can also create your own dish. It was good food but knats all over us ! Complained just got I'm so sorry! Never ever going g back to that bug hole !
Great service & great Mexican food! Nice area outside when it's warm. Perfect place to meet friends for margaritas !
From the food, service and atmosphere, Hacienda is always a must go to destination. The City Tacos are outstanding and well as the Veggie Layer Dip (if you are in charge of bringing a dish to share to a party, pick one of these up - it's a crowd pleaser and will be gone very quickly) Two of my other all time favorites are Chile Relleno or Chicken Mole, best in town!

We have been coming to Hacienda for years. We winter in Tucson and eat plenty of good Mexican food there but Hacienda can hold it's own with any restaurant in Tucson. I get the Nacho Salad with the house dressing on the side and my husband gets the Mexican pizza. Both are excellent. Go before the drinking crowd arrives and parking is not an issue! The chips are Iight, fresh and crispy. They have a chunky salsa that you may have to request...but we preper it to the regular one. This restaurant is a winner!
Since the origional owners have sold out the place has gone from a strong "B" to a weak "D". The food now tastes pre packaged, the sour cream was served to our table still FROZEN in the little paper cups??? The portions are about 1/2 what they were. They have lost our 12 people monthly happy hour meetup, sad really. Don't waste your money try taco bell.
Went in dead tired from a long road trip. The last thing I wanted was to wait for service and was delighted that we were waited on immediately and the quality of the meal was superb. the wait time for getting my meal was very minimal.
This place is fantastic! In addition to having some of the best authentic mexican food in town, Hacienda has the absolute best outdoor patio for those wonderful gatherings with friends. They also have what I believe to be some of THE best margaritas in town.
