Doug and Vickie Hardy have taken over Haar's Auction along with Connie and Al Darbrow and Sandra Haar effective March 1, 2003. Our grandfather Vance Haar started the auction business in the 1940's traveling around picking up and selling merchandise for people. His son George Haar joined him upon return of the military. In 1972 Vance Haar passed away leaving his legacy to his 4 children George, Boyd, Elwood and Claribel. They incorporated in 1974. I love this drive in! It's always a fun experience. Their fries are so good! I also love their soft serve.

I have gone to around 15 different Drive-ins and Haars is my favorite. While at some other drive-ins people show up just in time to see the movies, Haars is open 2-3 hours before the movies start. Haars is more than just seeing 2 movies at a good price, it is an evening out with friends and family. The food is good and the ice cream is world class.
