A hidden hotspot in the west side of town. – I started coming here a couple of years ago when a friend of mine told me to meet up for happy hour. At first I couldn't find this place since it is situated in the middle of nowhere and right nearby the backside of Port Authority.. However, it was the greatest discovery ever! They have two happy hours, an after work one, and if you stay sober enough, you can make the late night happy hour at 11. The martinis and cocktails were 5 dollars and they were intricate well made drinks. S... read more

Dinner left me hungry – I noticed Fat Sal's Pizzeria across the street after a good 20-minute wait for the first course. Perhaps that could have been a wonderful alternative. As this is my first post, I do admit that my writing this review was prompted by the poor food I was served at HK. Our party decided to order "family" style and share our food, so that could explain why I was not completely satisified and left hungry, but the attempt by HK to have innovative dishes failed in my book. Swordfish over Israeli couscous - th... read more

you must visit – So I've been here before, always enjoyed it. I love, love, love the food! Especially the escargots, which is quietly the best in the city. The drinks are awesome too, but OMG you have to see the new HK Lounge. It is absolutely one of the best looking places in the city. I was so fooled by the modest outside, only to walk into the type of luxurious setting that one could get used to. The music was energizing, the staff was delightful, and even the owners are HOT! It was just a great time! You should get there... read more

Great city outing – I recently returned to HK and was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed my second visit just as much as my first. We all know this rarely happens when you actually find a place you like. The service was fabulous, the girls were sweet and attentive, our food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The first time I went was on a Saturday where they serve brunch with great breakfast drinks (mimosas, bellinis, etc) which was fun after wandering around the street fair that literally is right next doo... read more

Best new private event space – I've always enjoyed my dining experiences at H.K, but recently I was exceptionally blown away. After eating escargots (to die for) and sharing a plate of the grilled calamari salad with my companion (also very good), I attended a charity event at 37 Arts with Rosie O'Donnell and finished my night off by going back to H.K--this time, to their private event space, which if you haven't seen, you MUST! Red ostrich skin booths and automatic sliding glass doors accented the secluded spot that I was p... read more

Concrete floors and glass stairs meet an above average menu – Space: Nice location on corner. Not much in the area that offers this feel: concrete, trendy feeling, candles, dimly lit, flowers, emphasis on white, frosted glass stairs and bathrooms doors. No booths, but round and square tables. Outdoor seating even when chilly (no heat lamps, its seems, though). Due to the decor, the music tends to bounce and resonate-- it?s not somewhere you want to whisper sweet nothings. TVs: Yes, there are three or four of tubes of distrac... read more

Great Great Great!!!! – Oh my gosh, so good! Fantastic waiter and great service. Menu has something for everyone, all reasonably priced. The food was delicious--we tried everything from drinks to dessert! Nice ambience, as well. During the day, the place looks hip and modern, at night softens into a romantic, candlelit dining room. Just can't say enough. Check this place out!

Attack of the Dyk-ish Donna Reeds!!!! – For a restaurant that likes to flaunt its "Trendy-ness", I'm totally confused by the new "look" of the service staff. For some reason this restaurant has decided to go with a new Costume for the females; one which is at the same time most unflattering and looks very uncomfortable to wear. Why would they want to put something so cheap looking on anyone in an establishment with such a High HomoClientelle? And besides, don't they understand that the cute, sultry servers are the only thing... read more
